Dominic Cote founded Cano Consulting with a vision to empower nonprofit organizations through expert guidance and innovative solutions. His journey began in college when his social club lost its tax-exempt status. Faced with the arduous process of reinstatement and the threat of looming tax burdens increasing expenses, Dominic recognized a significant gap in the industry—a lack of accessible guidance and innovative support for nonprofits navigating the intricate tax landscape.
Determined to make a difference, he leveraged his finance and analytics degree to develop a technology-driven approach to tax accounting. He founded Cano Consulting with a commitment to simplify the complexities of tax compliance, implementing advanced software solutions and AI to manage accounting records and proactively prevent future compliance issues.
